• If you beat your horse, you will be asked to leave the premises and will not be allowed to return.
• No dogs or other pets are allowed in the park.
• No unattended or loose horses.
• Smoking IS allowed anywhere in the park except for in and around buildings. Please police your butts.
• You MAY bring your own alcoholic beverages to the park. Underage drinking and open drunkenness are not tolerated.
• Any and all photographs and videos taken at The Horse Park are subject to being used in Horse Park advertising, social media, and/or documents.
• Be courteous and take turns using obstacles and facilities.
• Be courteous and start and end your dressage ring reservation on time.
• Be courteous and clean manure from the dressage ring when you are finished.
• Be courteous and set up any knocked over obstacles in the working equitation arena when you are finished.
• Stealing will NOT BE TOLERATED.  Anyone caught stealing will be escorted off the property by the police and will not be welcome back.

Parking Lot

• Pick up trash in your parking spot before you leave.
• Stay on the driveways when entering and exiting the parking lot.

Safety

• Helmets and proper riding shoes for your stirrup style are highly recommended for all riders.
• Helmets and proper riding shoes for your stirrup style are REQUIRED for all riders under 18.
• Minors must have an adult rider accompanying them when riding outside of the riding and working equitation arenas.
  
• If you notice a hazard anywhere on the grounds, please notify park staff.
• Do not endanger others with your behavior.

Documents

• A current negative Coggins is required.
• You must certify your agreement to these park rules.
• All visitors must sign a liability waiver.

Access

• Horse Park access is granted only through membership or purchase of a day pass.
• Horse Park access is granted only after required documents have been completed and returned.

Violations

• Please report any rule infractions to the park manager.
• Any violation of Horse Park rules/policies may result in revocation of membership and/or removal from the property.

Trainers and Students

• Trainers must provide declaration of insurance listing Gryphon Run Stables, Inc. dba The Horse Park @ Gryphon Run, 2520 Number Ten Lane, Chesapeake, VA 23323 as the certificate holder.
• Both trainers and students must have either a membership in the park or a day pass.
• Do not interfere with another trainer's session or business.

Guests

• A maximum of 2 guests may accompany a rider.
• Guests are required to complete a liability waiver.
• Guests are confined to spectator and rest areas only.
• Guests may not interfere with the rider or the enjoyment of other park visitors.

Emergencies

In the event of an emergency, dial 911 immediately. Then, please notify Amy Geuy (757-719-9021) or park staff. The Horse Park is located at 2520 Number Ten Lane, Chesapeake, VA 23323.
