Skilled in the art of Classical Horsemanship, he has trained horses of many breeds of all ages and sexes. He is a trainer with decades of experience who takes his training to the next level and always brings the very best out of every horse and rider.

Alfonso Doce grew up around horses and started riding at an early age. Following his Spanish heritage, Military education and traditions, he gained experience in several riding disciplines that ranged from Mounted Combat and Archery, Jousting, Polo, Doma Vaquera, Cattle work and Rejoneo to Dressage (training level to Grand Prix), Airs above ground, Working Equitation, Jumping, and Three day eventing. He has thrilled hundreds of thousands of spectators with his Haute Ecole performances, Medieval shows, and exhibitions.  Alfonso is highly skilled in the art of equine communication, sensitivity, and sensory training at all levels and is always on a quest to gain new knowledge and understanding of the horse.

Alfonso believes that Dressage (training) is the essential foundation for any discipline. Dressage develops balance, coordination, flexibility, strength, and the horse's mind. It preserves the horse's muscular, skeletal, and mental soundness.
